Dr Vanita Rattan Vitamin C Glow Serum 50ml (formerly Pregnancy Glow Serum)- An anti-aging, anti-pigmentation, brightening and smoothing serum for facial skin. Suitable for morning and evening use. Formulated for women of colour and all skin types, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It is non-comedogenic and 'NAFE SAFE' to minimise chances of irritation: No Denatured Alcohol, No Fragrance and No Essential Oils.

Why is it good for skin of colour?

Compared to caucasian skin, skin of colour has:

• Fewer ceramides, which means duller drier skin.
• Larger melanocytes, which means more it is more prone to hyperpigmentation.

Therefore, the skin requires gentle tyrosinase inhibitors along with hydrating, ceramide rich formulas, which generally aren't available on the market.

The Dr. V Vitamin C Glow Serum is 'NAFE SAFE' to minimise chances of irritation i.e. No Denatured Alcohol, No Fragrance and No Essential Oils.

Who is this product for?

* If not using Antioxidant Power Serum in your routine, or if pregnant/nursing, use Vitamin C Glow Serum before Cera Pep.

Start off using once per day, then progress to twice per day if suitable.

Moisturiser not required after the serum for persons with oily skin and also it may not sit well on or under the serum.

Warning: In general, only apply the products in this range on normal, clean skin, not if cracked/damaged. In the rare event of skin irritation or an allergic skin reaction, please discontinue use and contact your doctor if required.

Side effects: very rare but may include temporary redness, dry skin, spots, irritation, or inflammation.

1. Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes it is for all skin types (normal/dry/oily), as long as the skin is not damaged or sensitive.

2. Can you use it to treat hyperpigmentation on the body?

You can apply the product on body area hyperpigmentation; however, it is not primarily designed for this purpose.

3. How long does it last for?

Depending on the application area and amount used, the product is estimated to last approx. 4-6 weeks with daily use.

4a. Can I use it as a daytime serum?

Yes, the product can be used as a normal Vitamin C or other serum for its general benefits, as it’s safe for daytime use.

4b. How do I use it with the Daily Range?

You can use the Vitamin C Glow Serum in the morning routine and the Antioxidant Power Serum at night, not both together simultaneously. Please apply Cera Pep afterwards on both occasions.
